What is a cookie ?

A cookie is a small text file in alphanumeric format placed on the user’s hard disk by the server of the visited site or by a third party server (advertising network, web analytics service, etc…). A cookie is used to recognize a visitor when they return to a website. However, from a technical point of view, the cookie actually makes it possible to recognize a machine and not really a user. A cookie can only be used by a server in the domain that placed it. Behavioural data is linked to the cookie number and stored on the servers that placed the cookies.
It is likely that the User’s terminal is configured to accept cookies by default. It is then quite possible to configure your terminal by itself in order to modify these parameters.

Cookies and other Site trackers

When visiting our Website, information relating to the navigation of the User’s terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) may be stored in “Cookies” files installed on his terminal.
