If you decide not to breast-feed, there are a few precautions to take when cleaning baby's bottle.
Sterilization is no longer recommended today.
On the other hand, the bottle must be well rinsed in hot water after each meal, to remove any milk residues as these provide a truly noxious substrate for bacterial culture which is then likely to be ingested by baby.
Then use a washing up liquid specially formulated for your baby's safety, and rinse again.
Don't forget to wash baby's clothes before they wear them with a detergent suitable for baby's sensitive skin.
The Biolane Hypoallergenic & Ecological Baby Detergent minimizes the risks of allergy relating to the use of a conventionnal detergent, while protecting the environement (ECOCERT-certified).
